Angela Hewitt, the world-renowned pianist, has created the Trasimeno Music Festival, which draws an international audience to the Castle of the Knights of Malta in Magione, on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in Umbria. Seven concerts in seven days feature Hewitt as a recitalist, chamber musician, song accompanist, and conductor, featuring as well in this, its fourth year, Gerald Finley and Garrick Ohlsson. The varied programmes range from Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, Schumann to Poulenc, Gershwin and Barber.
